She previously held senior marketing roles at the MN Super Bowl Host Committee and Mall of America where she built and executed innovative marketing, advertising + experiential campaigns. Her strong marketing background is coupled with a love for big picture planning and day to day execution. Stephanie is a consumer marketer and strategist who brings concepts to life.


In her 12-year career, she has created iconic brands, launched award-winning campaigns, developed engaging events and experiences, and executed multi-channel strategies incorporating paid, earned and owned media.

As the Senior Marketing Manager for the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, she led development of the ‘Bold North’ brand that garnered over $248 million in national publicity and introduced Minnesota to the world as a great place to live, work and play. She planned, negotiated and implemented an $8 million regional advertising campaign that attracted more than 1M people to Super Bowl LIVE.

Prior to joining the Host Committee, Stephanie held various event and marketing roles at Mall of America including Attractions Marketing Manager, where she oversaw the development and execution of annual marketing strategy for Nickelodeon Universe, Moose Mountain Adventure Golf and seasonal exhibits for Barbie: The Dreamhouse Experience, Star Trek: The Exhibition and MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition.

As Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the MN Super Bowl Host Committee, Wendy led a top team, exciting strategy and aggressive plan raising $53M in private corporate funding, created the “Bold North” brand and developed and executed the day “Super Bowl LIVE” that attracted more than 1M people and introduced Minnesota to the world as a great place to live work and play.

Previously, as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Sun Country Airlines, she created and built innovative branding strategies including the “Hometown Airline” and Sun Country Vacations, and was responsible for all marketing, partnerships, and PR.

Recognized as an innovator in strategic marketing, she maximizes revenue generation. As the Vice President of Marketing at Mall of America, she drove 40M visits and $2B in revenue annually. Known for many firsts, she collaborated to develop the iconic “Place for Fun in Your Life” brand, developed an Events Program driving over 300 annually, developed the first retail sponsorship program in the country bringing in over $10M.

Maureen is an organizational visionary and recognized for her ability to lead dynamic teams that successfully deliver results. As CEO of Super Bowl LII, Maureen’s forward-thinking marketing and guest-focused strategies generated $450M for the local economy, garnered over 11.5B media impressions and attracted more than 1M attendees. Through a customer survey, more than 83% of visitors intended to return Minnesota. A favorite quote from a corporate Super Bowl sponsor said “I don’t know what we’re (Minnesota) is going to do now that we’re cool.”

An award-winning “marketer’s marketer” and expert in creating and building bold brands, as the Executive Vice President for Mall of America, Minnesota’s biggest tourism destination, Maureen led the marketing strategy and team from opening day. The Mall is now an international shopping destination with over 40M guest visitors and an economic impact of more than $3B annually.
